Privacy

This site is built to be read without leaving a trace. What follows is the whole list — not a summary of it.

What this site does not do

  • No tracking cookies.
  • No audience analytics — no Google Analytics, no equivalent.
  • No advertising and no social network buttons.
  • No sign-up to read and none to download.
  • No profile built from how you browse.

What it collects

Only what you type in yourself, and only when you press send: name, email and whatever you write in the forms. That goes to a Google Forms spreadsheet and serves exactly one purpose: letting me reply. It does not become a mailing list, an automated newsletter, or anything passed to a third party.

The one exception is the server's automatic logs: like every website, the server records IP address, date, time and the page requested. That exists for security and because Brazilian law (Marco Civil da Internet, Law 12.965/2014, art. 15) requires keeping it.

The download counter

When you download the book, the server adds 1 to a counter and notes the country and state the download came from, for the board on the Materials page. To find the country, the server looks up your IP address with an external service (ip-api.com), which receives the IP and nothing else. The counter does not keep the IP: it is used to avoid counting the same person twice in one day (through a scrambled code that expires) and then discarded. What remains are counts: how many per format, edition, country and state.

External requests

This site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. That is the only request to a third-party domain on the whole page, and it sends nothing beyond what any file download sends.

Your rights

Under Brazilian data protection law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) you can ask to see, correct or delete what you sent. Write to boominho@forboomers.com.br and I will do it.

Who is responsible

Little Bull IA Programas de Computador Ltda, company number 63.809.184/0001-55, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, trading as For Boomers. We are a small-scale processor and, as art. 11 of ANPD Resolution 2/2022 permits, we have no appointed data protection officer — in its place, the address above answers for anything on this page.

The site forboomers.com.br is a different address with its own policy. What you read here applies to this site only.
